Biography

Julien is currently PhD student in computer science at the University of Freiburg under the supervision of Professor Philippe Curdré-Mauroux (exascale Infolab) in collaboration with the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Western Switzerland (HES-SO) Fribourg via the Professors Elena Mugellini and Omar Abou Khaled (HumanTech Institute).

His doctoral work consists in proposing a model helping to consolidate and present as a synthesis Internet data according to a specific context. To achieve this objective, his research activities are concentrated around the technologies and concepts of Linked Data and Big Data.

After being an assistant for 3 years, Julien is now lecturer for the Software Engineering course at the High School of Engineering and Architecture of Fribourg. He is also actively involved in other courses such as Web Engineering at the University of Fribourg and in some modules in the Master of Advanced Studies HES-SO.

Since 2014 Julien is also in charge of the Smart and Innovative Services and Development Group of HumanTech Institute. This group aims to support HumanTech development and technology transfer activities to companies and administrations.
